OfficialCityPrep™,
a Michigan 501 (c) 3 non-profit
corporation, has received national and international acclaim from
companies such as the Hitachi Foundation and Ebony Magazine. Garen
S. Wolff established OCP in 2001 while a sophomore at Detroit
Country Day High School. OfficialCityPrep caters to the academic and
social needs of middle school students through peer mentorship with
high school students OCP's innovative activities range from our
annual OCP Ivy League Tour, a college tour of all 8 Ivy League
institutions, to health initiatives that empower students in
Metro-Detroit to lead healthier Lives.
OCP includes 3 organizations: CityPreppies-girls
mentoring program; Theβetas-boys mentoring program;
and UrbanElectronics-game development association for
boys and girls.

Our Mission
To utilize the A2.M.E.S2.™ Curriculum to aid
middle school students in becoming well rounded young adults with
academic and social goals. The A2.M.E.S2.™
Curriculum encompasses standardized test preparation, the
cultivation of etiquette skills, scientific exploration, and
familiarity with the arts. The program pairs middle school students
with sophomore thru senior high school students. All participants
are encouraged to think "outside the box" and express their
individuality.
