Ebony Magazine's SisterSpeak Luncheon and Awards Ceremony 2009

Sisterspeak Luncheons, a nationally recognized motivational seriesco-sponsored by Ebony Magazine and Pine Sol occurred Saturday, June 30. The event celebrates the unique sisterhood of African-American women and promotes a spirit of community. The high-profile program featured empowerment specialist and author Sil Lai Abrams and famed comedian Diane Amos.  Sisterspeak Luncheons is also part of the Powerful Difference campaign that acknowledges and rewards powerful women who foster pride and commitment to their communities across the country. Five African American women from the greater Detroit area, including Garen Wolff, OCP Founder, were honored for their outstanding efforts to make a Powerful Difference in their communities.
